Bullish tokenizes its shares, bringing BLSH onchain. Read More
GEORGE TOWN, Cayman Islands – Nov. 3, 2026 – Bullish (NYSE: BLSH), an institutionally focused global digital asset platform that provides regulated market infrastructure and information services, today named Solana, Aptos and Ethereum as the initial network partners for its equity tokenization services. Building on its work with Solana, Bullish plans to expand to Aptos and Ethereum, giving issuers a choice of networks for their issuer-sponsored tokenized shares.
The announcement follows the tokenization event Bullish and Equiniti hosted at the New York Stock Exchange on Oct. 27. At the event, Bullish CEO Tom Farley and Equiniti CEO Dan Kramer demonstrated the transfer of 61 million tokenized reserved Bullish shares on Solana, administered by Equiniti, with the transfer completing in seconds. Farley also showed how issuers could reward tokenized shareholders directly onchain by distributing a digital Consensus pass to a shareholder’s wallet. Bullish intends to offer the same capabilities on Aptos and Ethereum, and on other networks over time.
Multi-network support is the next step in bringing public equities onchain. Investors and liquidity are spread across multiple public blockchains, and tokenization infrastructure built for capital markets needs to work across them. Supporting Aptos and Ethereum alongside Solana lets issuers reach investors on the networks they already use, while the official record of ownership stays with the transfer agent.
For issuers and their shareholders, tokenized shares can enable capabilities the current post-trade system was not designed to support. These include round-the-clock markets, near-instant settlement, programmable corporate actions, real-time visibility into share ownership and new ways to engage and reward shareholders.
“We want to ensure that the issuer tokens we create for our issuers are available on key blockchains for our investors,” said Thomas Cowan, Head of Tokenization at Bullish. “Solana gave us the foundation to tokenize our own shares, and our event at the NYSE this week showed issuers what that looks like in practice. Supporting Aptos and Ethereum is the logical next step to meet the market and continue strong industry growth.”
In May, Bullish agreed to acquire Equiniti to create a combined platform spanning the full lifecycle of a tokenized security, and became the first NYSE-listed company to fully tokenize its own equity cap table on Solana. In the following months, tokenized BLSH shares began trading on Bullish Exchange and Bullish and EQ convened the Issuer Sponsored Token Coalition, a non-exclusive industry working group advancing an issuer-sponsored model for tokenized securities, in which issuers tokenize on their terms and maintain their relationship with shareholders. With this week’s tokenization of 61 million reserved BLSH shares, Bullish has earmarked sufficient shares for closing the Equiniti acquisition, with the final amount issued at closing to be determined in accordance with the merger agreement. The transaction remains subject to remaining regulatory approvals and customary closing conditions.
