Marex goes live on Bullish, uniting theexchange's deep liquidity with Marex's institutional trading network.
Cayman Islands – 23 September – Bullish (NYSE: BLSH), an institutionally focused global digital asset platform that provides regulated market infrastructure and information services, and Marex Group Limited (NASDAQ: MRX, ‘Marex’), a diversified global financial services platform, today announced a partnership to broaden institutional access to digital asset markets.
Marex will access Bullish markets across spot, options, perpetual futures and dated futures, arranging block trades through both electronic and voice execution to source liquidity for its over-the-counter derivatives and structured products business.
Marex is one of the few firms that can help investors across the entire digital asset ecosystem. Its capabilities span crypto-backed financing and collateral solutions, OTC trading, market making and clearing, treasury management, and a broad range of structured investment and hedging solutions across cryptocurrencies, ETFs and crypto-linked listed companies. Listed on Nasdaq, Marex has over 3,400 active clients globally, including some of the largest commodity producers, consumers and traders, banks, hedge funds and asset managers.
The offering pairs Marex's global infrastructure, robust risk management framework, and institutional-grade services with Bullish's regulated market infrastructure and deep, predictable liquidity. It reflects growing institutional demand for digital asset trading solutions that pair the operational standards and regulatory oversight of traditional finance.
"Marex is a trusted, go-to counterparty for institutions worldwide, and its decision to trade on Bullish reinforces our standing as the regulated venue serious market participants choose. For thousands of firms, this is a direct and familiar route into digital assets, on an exchange built for the way they already trade," said Chris Tyrer, President of Bullish Exchange.
Harry Benchimol, Co-Head of Derivatives Engine, Hedging & Investment Solutions, Marex, said “Institutional investors are increasingly looking for access to digital assets via regulated infrastructure that meets the existing standards of the industry, and we are seeing particularly strong demand across our structured products offering. As this business grows, deep and reliable liquidity is key to efficiently hedging the risk generated by client activity and managing our own positions. Bullish is a strong fit for us, with USD-based derivatives that are closer to traditional financial markets than crypto-margined alternatives, as well as long-dated options extending to January 2029 that align well with the maturity profile of our trading book. Combined with access to spot, options and futures on the same platform, this gives us an efficient way to manage risk and continue expanding the solutions we offer our clients. We look forward to leveraging this partnership to further expand the solutions we offer our clients.”
Bullish surpassed US$300 billion[1] in trading volume in H1 2026 and reached record open interest of more than US$6 billion. Regulated across multiple jurisdictions globally, Bullish combines best-in-class execution with the compliance and governance frameworks institutions require.
