CAYMAN ISLANDS – April 29 – Bullish (NYSE: BLSH), an institutionally focused global digital asset platform providing market infrastructure and information services, today announced an expansion of its partnership with Ripple, extending Bullish's options markets to users of Ripple Prime, Ripple's global multi-asset prime brokerage platform.
The enhanced integration provides Ripple Prime's institutional customers direct access to Bullish's regulated BTC options markets - the second-largest by open interest for crypto-settled Bitcoin options - complementing existing connectivity to Bullish's spot, perpetuals and dated futures. Stablecoins such as Ripple USD (RLUSD) can be used to trade options on Bullish.
Ripple Prime users can deploy capital instantly through existing sub-account structures with no additional KYC requirements. Planned support for cross-venue margin will further allow institutions to optimize collateral across exchanges and OTC desks for greater capital efficiency.
"Institutional demand for crypto derivatives is growing, and having access to options is central for sophisticated investors looking to manage risk more precisely across their digital asset portfolios," said Chris Tyrer, President of Bullish Exchange. "I'm delighted to expand our integration with Ripple Prime, giving their established network of institutional investors a trusted, regulated pathway to trade options alongside our existing offerings."
Ripple Prime is one of the largest global non-bank prime brokers, offering multi-asset brokerage, clearing and financing services, clearing over $3 trillion in 2025. The expanded integration with Bullish further strengthens the breadth of its digital assets offering, unlocking access to new options markets for its institutional customers.
“Bullish and Ripple Prime have been longtime partners, offering Ripple’s institutional clients access to robust derivatives markets as traditional and digital asset markets become increasingly interconnected,” said Mike Higgins, International CEO at Ripple Prime. “The ability for institutional clients to cross-margin across multiple types of venues for their options trading only strengthens the depth of participation, optimizing capital efficiency while facing a regulated and well-capitalized counterparty in Ripple Prime.”
