Jay is the President of CoinDesk Media & Events, bringing nearly two decades of leadership experience in digital growth, transformation, and editorial strategy. In his current role, he leads the vision and expansion of CoinDesk’s industry-leading digital asset news and events platform.
Prior to joining CoinDesk, Jay spent nine years at CNBC as Senior Vice President and Executive Editor of Digital. During his tenure, he successfully spearheaded the network's digital business, driving audience growth to a number-one comScore ranking and launching major direct-to-consumer products, including CNBC Pro, the CNBC Investing Club, and CNBC Select. Previously, he served as Executive Editor at Business Insider, where he oversaw day-to-day coverage and content strategy after initially joining the publication as an intern in 2007.
Jay holds a bachelor's degree in Economics from the University of Delaware and a master's degree in Journalism from New York University.
